Once a long time ago there was a bee, not just any bee but the Queen Bee who wished to give Jupiter a gift of fresh honey from her royal combs. She travelled high to Olympus where she gave Jupiter her gift of royal honey. Jupiter was so happy with her gift that he in turn offered her anything she could wish for. Now the Queen Bee was very protective of her honey and wished to protect it from others - so she asked Jupiter if she could have the gift of a deadly sting. Shocked Jupiter did not know how to answer but since he had offered the gift he had to give it. So he gave the gift of a sting to the Queen Bee but said that she could only use it at the cost of her own life. And that is why if a bee ever stings you the sting remains in your skin and the bee dies. Beware of strangers carrying gifts you never know what they may want in return. Do not wish for gifts that are not good for what ever you wish on another will be returned to you.
